RCAA provides energy assistance for the payment or purchase of of electricity, propane or natural gas. The energy assistance program eligibility and the amount of assistance, is based upon the household's income, type of bill and family size. The service is provided on a once per year basis.

Applicants are provided energy saving conservation information and are encouraged to have their homes weatherized. We see this as a multi-leveled approach to provide long term solutions for reducing energy costs and encouraging client self-sufficiency.
