Opportunities
Willow Creek Community Resource Center offers the following volunteer opportunities:
(The volunteers are oriented through St Joseph Health System and must be TB
tested and attend an all day orientation in Eureka - we ask for a one year committment)
Volunteers with some experience working in social services agencies and who
are mature enough to respect confidentiality.
A volunteer who would spend the time to learn the ins and outs of Medicare Part D and to assist seniors in navigating that system.
Volunteers who would be willing to work in the background as food program helpers, clothing closet organizers.
Volunteers who, under the direction of the Coordinator, would mentor the community service participants. Ideally this somebody would be someone who has knowledge of the "Recovery Community" with significant years of sobriety themselves.
A volunteer who would be willing to help file and perform some clerical duties, and help to promote the programming with PSA's and flyers, and newspaper articles.
