tutoringThe mission of the Redwood Community Action Agency AmeriCorps program is to increase the school success and ongoing participation of disengaged youth targeted by schools and community agencies working in partnership with AmeriCorps.

AmeriCorps members:

  • mentor targeted youth throughout their service term
  • provide enriching recreational, educational and cultural activities
  • engage young people in community service projects
  • and provide educational and life-skill assistance


All of which better connect the youth with their schools and community.
