RCAA's Housing Rehabilitation Programs focus primarily on repairs to structural and mechanical elements of single and multi-family dwellings owned or rented by low-income residents throughout Humboldt County. Our staff is also available to assist in developing housing surveys and plans for implementation. This department currently administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the HOME Housing Rehabilitation Program, the OES Seismic Retrofit for Residential Program, and the Housing Preservation Grant (HPG) Program.
