CITY OF RIO DELL
HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM

About the Program

You might notice some of your friends and neighbors fixing up their homes and wonder how they can afford to make those necessary repairs. It may be some of them are benefiting from the City of Rio Dell's Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program.

The City of Rio Dell is using grant funds originally received from the California State Department of Housing and Community Development to assist income qualified homeowners in completing necessary housing rehabilitation repairs. They have contracted with RCAA to help disburse these funds in the form of low interest and deferred payment loans. If you have housing repair problems and haven't been able to afford to get them fixed, we might be able to help you.

For homeowners: 3% amortized loans for low income households, 3% simple interest deferred (no monthly payment) for very low income households. Loan maximum is $45,000.

For owner/investors: 5% amortized loans up to $45,000 per unit.
