The Youth Service Bureau is a crisis intervention
prevention program that provides safe and confidential services
to Humboldt County youth and their families. We provide information
and referral as well as the following services:
- Crisis Intervention
444-Care (2273) 24 hour response
- Youth & Family Outreach
- RAVEN Project
Street Outreach for homeless & runaway youth, and peer counseling
- Parent Support Groups
- Emancipation Assistance
- School Based Prevention
On-site prevention and intervention services with children K-8
grade and their families
- Our House
Short term emergency shelter, food, and clothing; services to
provide family reunification/alternate living situation
- Teen Outreach Project
School and community outreach for youth and families
- Vocational Guidance for Teen Parents
Work experience, career exploration, job skills training through
Eureka City schools
The Youth Service Bureau also operates three thrift shops.
The proceeds from these help support YSB programs. Donations of
used merchandise will gladly be picked up by calling 445-4217.
